Please help!!!

This morning, I drove along a road to south. I saw red light at cross, so I
stopped. I was in right lane. I saw there are less cars in left lane, I checked back: a
car around 15 meters away, so I trun left light and changed to left lane. because that car
was too fast, it hit edge of my back door.
Is it my flaw or his flaw?
What should I do now?
Do you have or heard similar case?

I think you take the most part of the fault. According to the driver's book, you have to check the traffic before changing a lane, and do it only when it is safe to do it. The other party isn't required in the driver's book to stop any time for an unexpected vehicle when he/she keeps going on the same lane. You are not lucky to be hit on the back door. If you were hit on the back bump, that would be another story.

it might be 50% liability for you if you could find other party's fault, e.g. speed was too high etc.

That guy just call me. He said he won't claim it because he won't get benefit and the insurance company will increase his premium.
For me, there is only minor scratch on the edge of my back door.
