No, you cannot. The builder could extend the closing date up to 120 days without paying you anything. See the sales agreement you signed for detail.

Most new houses are late somewhat. Minto is not too bad at that department. They even offer free rental unit for you to live in if they are way too late.

Inquire your lawyer. Our builder was late for about 2 months and my lawyer negotiated compensation for us. It wasn't a big bonus, but it covered the extra costs for 2 extra moves and storage rental.

If the builder is late, there's insurance to cover that, but they usually don't want to claim insurance because that will affect their rating, and thus, they would rather negotiate it off the table.
