3 bdrm and 4 bdrm house choice

Hi. today I heard that 3 brm house is hard to sell, now if buying a house, better buy 4 brm one..is it true? What if the family size is small? Don't those family also need home?

Townhome 3brm is good. Apartment condo 2brm is good. Those houses are for small family and more affordable. But a detached house usually is for family with children and people with higher income.Even with one child, have a reading room and a guest room is also good. So even two houses have same sq feet. One 3brm one 4brm, 4brm will go first and for more money.
