关于ROGERS上网！！！

用ROGERS有几年了，一直用的好好的，最近不知道怎么了？总是掐我的网，第一次打电话的时候说是发现病毒，让我处理好后马上重新连接了我的网络，可是过了一星期又掐了，说是同样的问题，结果给了我一个星期的Suspension,不让我用，郁闷死我了，今天终于是连接上了，但是那人提醒我如果再发生同样的问题，下次就是1个月不给用网络，家里电脑重灌了好几次，也安装了好的防病毒软件，听朋友说可能是我下载东西太多，流量控制？是这个原因吗？我家用的是highspeed ，每个月交50块左右，也没有说有限制啊？现在弄的我好怕上网了，我希望这方面有经验的大大给我分析一些到底什么原因，不然下次可就是1个月不能上网，这可怎么活啊？？？

流量确实有限制，有一次我就收到他们的信，说如果下个月再这样就改成最基本的速度了，我就小心了。

我个人感觉，Bell无论是在服务和质量方面都比Rogers好

Only Bell Canada owns the physical netwrok, both Sympatico and Acanac (and other DSL providers, e.g. ca.inter.net) are one of retailers of Bell Canada. You are actually saying Bell Canada's DSL network is garbage, and so is Sympatico.

Why Bell wholesales a little bit of network resource to Acanac? It becauses lower end customers are very price sensitive, and nobody (Bell or Rogers) can make money from that market group. In order to prevent the competitor (Rogers) wins that market sector, Bell rent out a little bit of network resource (poor quality) to small retailers like Acanac just try to kill that market sector.

Same thing is going to happen in the VoIP market and TV market. Lower price and poor quality from wholesale company, and high quality and high price service from network owners like Bell.
