Candidate Qualifications:

„X University degree in Business Management/Financial Accounting is preferred.
„X One or two years experience as a financial analyst in a Financial Institution would be an asset.
„X Knowledge of DCM businesses and/or knowledge of the firm¡¦s financial processes and systems is preferred.
„X Good understanding of management information systems.
„X Strong working knowledge of PC applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Access).
„X Excellent writing and communication skills.
„X Strong analytical skills.
„X Must be detail-oriented.
„X Have a track record of dedication regarding meeting critical deadlines.


Description:

Purpose of Job :
The successful applicant will provide the necessary support to meet the management information needs of DCM. The incumbent will assist in the collection, preparation and interpretation of financial performance and market data related to DCM globally. The incumbent will also be involved in the DCM annual planning, and monthly management reporting process. In addition, the incumbent will have the opportunity to participate in special/adhoc projects/presentations relating to DCM as well as assisting various other segments of the DCM Business Management Group.

Major Activities:
1. Prepare and analyze management reports.
„X Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports on a monthly basis for management information purposes.
„X Assist in the preparation of reports (standard and customized) that meet the user needs, are well-written, logically presented and organized as appropriate to client groups served.
„X Responsible for integrity of report contents through reconciliation and control of reporting database to source information.

2. Cost management and containment initiatives.
„X Assist in cost variance analysis with focus on developing initiatives to eliminate/reduce unnecessary costs.

3. Balance sheet & capital management.
„X Assist in review and monitoring of balance sheet & capital items.

4. Prepare HR/FTE related queries as requested by the business.

5. Prepare invoices for payment.

„X Good communication skills are required for contacts with all management levels within all areas of the Bank (Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Risk Management, etc.) to obtain/provide information and explanations.
