没错。西方人认为，即使一个地区过去，历史上一直是某国的领土，但是今天想独立，还是应该有权利独立的。所以想去游行的中国朋友如果使用西藏过去是中国领土，今天就还应该是中国领土的逻辑，不能使西方人折服。

是会被笑话的。

想去游行的中国朋友，要另想办法才行。

这就是人权 和 民主。中国人对这个概念比较陌生。

"Force" is a relative term. Ends justify means.

If China is "democratic" by Western standards today, I think it's the Tibetan exiles that will suffer media bombardment, and no one will question whether China is "forcing" their unity upon Tibet, much like how most Americans think that all Indians are living happily in the US and do not wish for their land and way of life back - which is probably true.

Give Tibet another 2 or 3 generations, and you will see more and more young Tibetans thinking that uniting themselves with China is to their best interest, in that case, "force" becomes "voluntary" doesn't it?

你知道香港末代总督曾经要求过香港举行独立公投吗？中国的回答是：要投全国人民一起投。这也是对台独，疆独，藏独，任何企图独立人的回答。

要是在任何国家某个省，县，村，家庭或者什么宗教组织想要独立，不想遵守国家宪法，自己要求公投，那合适吗？这在任何国家也行不通。

我支持祖国统一。但我不支持强迫的统一。 我不支持藏独，不喜欢看到藏独。但我坚决支持西藏人有决定藏独的权利。

我支持中国政府必要时用武力镇压暴力。我不支持中国政府使用不必要的武力镇压。
