The requirement is for the services of Five Content Migration Specialists to assist in the migration of content for the DFAIT internet sites

THS category: Computer Application Support Specialist - CAS - Level 1

STATEMENT OF WORK

Tasks and Deliverables:

The consultant will be required to deliver the following tasks and deliverables:

Tasks (Junior Content Migration Specialist):
· Quickly learn and use a new content management system (CMS) interface to migrate content from an existing site.
· Cut and paste content from one source (live site) into another (CMS) and modify formatting according to a predetermined set of “templates” using a WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) tool.
· Review own work and the work of others for completeness and accuracy.
· Conduct content inventories by navigating a live site and using excel spreadsheets to produce appropriate reports.


Deliverables (Junior Content Migration Specialist):
· Migrated content pages in the new content management system as assigned
· Content Inventory spreadsheets
· Content migration tracking spreadsheets


Experience and Skills : (Junior Content Migration Specialist)

· Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is mandatory
· Very detail oriented
· Proficiency in using the internet and with internet-related concepts
· Able to accurately review own work and the work of others
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to work to deadline
