Can winamp run under Linux platform?

I checked website, the version for Linux hasn't released yet. Is there any other software that I can find to play MP3 under Linux?

Not X-window, SuSE Linux operating system.

I wonder if Xmms is fit for other Linux platform, instead of Red Hat.
