Assignments
There are two assignments worth five marks each. Details for the assignments are as follows:
Assignment 1: due February 2/2003 before 11:59 p.m.
Answer the following 4 questions from the textbook: P2-5B, P3-8A, P4-5B, and P5-6B.
Assignment 2: due March 23/2003 before 11:59 p.m.
Answer the following 5 questions from the textbook: P6-2A, P8-5A, E9-6, P10-5A and E11-12
There are three options for submitting the assignments. No late assignments will be accepted.
I. Hand delivered on or before the due date to the mailbox on the 7th floor of Dunton Tower (beside the glass doors)
II. By E-mail to: 42101@business.carleton.ca
If assignments are emailed, they must be completed in one file using either Word or Excel. In the email header indicate the course number, assignment number and the course section (i.e. 42.1001 Section V, Assignment #2)
III. By mail to:

If assignments are mailed, they must be postmarked by the due date.
Students are encouraged to make a copy of their assignments before submitting them to the instructor. The assignments can be completed individually or in groups of up to 4 people. You can use the newsgroup to indicate your interest in working in groups and in forming your group.
Group Work
When assignments are completed in groups, only one assignment should be handed in for each group. The following declaration must be included on the front page of the assignment and signed by all members of the group:
"We the undersigned have all participated in the completion of this assignment and are all deserving of the same mark for the assignment:"
