Needs a sr. power supply designer to come in and lead the development in miniature high-voltage power supply designs for ionic cooling.
Client is working with 2.5 kilovolts
SKILLS: Musts
8 years minimum of "hands on" hardware design experience focused on miniature power supply designs
Expert in PCB design using Cadence tools (Concept-HDL, Allegro)
Expert in the use of simulation analysis software such as ADS
Must have taken at least two designs from concept to volume production (preferably in the laptop or hand-held consumer device space)
Must have the ability to make trade off analysis between cost, size and efficiency of power supply designs
Must be a team player and excellent communicator
Strong analytical skills and the ability to innovate, creating disciplined solutions to complex problems.
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering- MUST
Plus
Understanding of ionic cooling technology
Experience in the design and tape-out of analog ASICs
Technical patents, technical papers and presentations, and membership in technical associations, e.g., IEEE, SPIE, etc.
