请问换加拿大新护照后,旧护照还退回来吗?

有哪位朋友知道吗?因为旧的护照上还有其他国家的有效签证呢.

在办新护照的时候，你可以选择退回或者自己留下旧护照。

But, you cannot use your 旧的护照 anymore because it must be cut some edge or made a hole on it before return to you.

因为加拿大护照快要过期了,必须要换新的.但旧护照上还有其他国家的有效签证,我的问题是旧护照上的签证还可以继续使用吧?不用因为换了新护照还要重新办签证吧?

Better is ask/call the embassy of the country you got visa from. Ask them can you use the visa on old passport together with your new passport.

Visa is issued to a passport holder particularly for that passport. Commonly, you shall not use it with a new passport legally or technically. Also, the visa is linked with the original passport in computer system these days.

However, each visa issuer may have a "visa transferring service" available to simplify the process of applying a new visa. Good luck!
