The number of people killed in road crashes. .....

In 2008, 30 people were killed, 10 drivers, 7 passengers, 3 motorcyclists and 10 pedesstrians. .....

Total collisions within city limits numbered 15,638 in 2008, .......

Good news is that ---- The number of people killed in road crashes declined 25% in 2008 compared to 2007. Forty people were killed as a result of collisions in 2007, although that was a higher total compared to previous years.

[FONT=&quot]In 2006, 25 people died on Ottawa roads, while 28 were killed in 2005 and 31 in 2004.
