A Toronto may is facing 14 charges, including ones related to impaired driving, following an early-morning west-end collision that left a TTC bus stop in ruins.
Police say the got a call about Thursday's incident at 5:53 a.m.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Annette and Keele Streets, with one allegedly going through a red light.
One of the cars then struck a TTC shelter after the vehicles collided. The driver of that car fled on foot, but police soon caught him.
Paramedics took the other driver to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested the other driver.
Craig Barlow, 28, faces the following:
- impaired driving
- driving with a blood-alcohol level of more than .08
- dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- taking an auto without consent
- failure to stop after an accident
Barlow is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
