新车磨合期？

这里还有这个概念吗，国内说新车不要上高速，不上80公里这里还这样吗？好像没听说过。

Yes, the first 2,000 KM you better not over 80KM/H, so that means don't drive on HWY.

不是这么说。
关键要看发动机转速RPM.多数车头两千公里转速不要超过3500转就可以了，除了那些红线转速本来就很低的车要相应更低。也就是不到3500转跑100也没事，但踩尽油门加速就算没到80也不好。

这边的新车没听说要磨合啊！新车机油勤换点就好。

据说第一次换机油不要太早，因为原厂带出来的机油有抗磨剂，过了磨合期再换正常的机油

发动机，齿轮箱：看转速，不要让转速固定在一个位置，如果是手挡，多换换挡。

轮胎，刹车：不要急加速，和急刹车。


另外，新换的刹车轮胎，都需要注意磨合的，不止是新车

其实现在都没这个说法了，只是大家心理作用。
都说前1000km不要开告诉等等，殊不知高档新车都要被路试的，都是开到底。

其实磨合期也只是不要猛加油而已

This is what it says in the manual (2006 Caravan):

ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS:
Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph ( 80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.
While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration, within the limits of local traffic laws, contributes to a good break-in. Wide open throttle acceleration in low gear can be detrimental and should be avoided.


I don't know why today's car still needs break-in. I just blindly follow.
