QUEBEC - His driving was nothing short of crazy said one officer about the antics displayed by an 18 year old male in Saguenay.
Shortly before midnight and into this morning, police attempted to pull over Frédéric Simard (pictured) after he was observed driving without functioning headlights.

Simard fled from police leading them on a chase in a desperate attempt to evade the law.
Police used every tactic available to apprehend Simard and were able to arrest him a short time later, after the car he was driving blew a tire after speeding over speed humps.
Simard, who had two 18 year old female friends in the car with him, allegedly blew through five red lights and 15 stop signs.
Simard was charged with 15 highway traffic violations, accumulated 45 demerit points and over $2,300 in fines.
Police also charged him with several criminal offences including dangerous driving and flight from police.
Simard told police he refused to stop because he was afraid of being fined for having passengers in the car with him, which is in violation of his licence class.

He appeared for a hearing this afternoon where a request was filed to prohibit Simard from driving when granted bail.
