Homestay usually is close to your school or close to a bus route to your school. Meals are also included (it should be stated in the homestay contract). But living in Homestay has lots of restriction, like cannot come late later than 11, or weekend must return home...etc since they need to ensure your safety.
I am a part-time instructor at Algonquin, and I am living with my mom and a little dog. I have a house which is walking distance to Algonquin and also has a room to rent starting September.
