Cyclist struck and killed in collision with STO bus, Sussex Drive closed


OTTAWA — A female cyclist was struck and killed in a collision with an STO bus Wednesday afternoon in front of the Foreign Affairs building, near the intersection of Sussex Drive and King Edward Avenue.

Ottawa police received the call at 4:47 p.m.

Sussex Drive was closed between King Edward Avenue and Boteler Street, and police were asking commuters to avoid the area and take an alternate route where possible.


No further details were immediately available.
