电瓶没有电?

I was driving on 417 last night, I noticed the battery signal were on (actually it was starting flashing the day before) Then the head light got weaker and weaker, then radio was off, then the ABS and air bag signals were on, just before I decided to move my car to emergency diveway, my car totally dead. Luckily, I still could get my car slided to diveway.
Some good-hearted guy jumped my car, it was started but just 5 seconds, my car dead again. So I had to had my car trolled to home.
So what problems do you guys think it was? Thanks.

Either the battery is dead or the alternator does not charge the battery.

It sounded as if it was the alternator.

This is actually very frustrating as I test charging systems regularly. Chances are the battery is fine. a good battery can rejuvinate itself over time to a point where it will allow you to start your vehicle. The battery light on the dash really has little to do with the battery itself. it is a dummy gauge and it comes on when the alternator is not charging. What you are experiencing is an alternator that works and doesnt' work, this could be because an internal connection to either the alternator or voltage regulator is bad or a wire between the alternator and battery is bad. I would start with the wiring. an alternator relies on a 12V battery signal going into the alternator to start the charge cycle. This signal excites the alternator and makes it charge. If you are taking the alternator off the vehicel and having it tested and it keeps passing the test test it ON the vehicle. a very simple backyard method is the unhook one of the battery cables once the car is running. The alternators output is enough to keep the car running. If the car dies the alternator is bad if it stays running then it is working --notice I did not finish with properly, its just working The test machine at Autozone will do a load test on the charging system with everything ON the vehicle. Have them charge/test the battery to make sure it has a full charge and is good. (driving as you've described can make a battery go bad) If they tell you that they can not test an alternator on the vehicle tell whoever is helping you he/she is full of it and get someone else. On their rollout test machine there is a charging system test button as well as a starter test button (yes starters can be tested ON the vehicle--this is the preferred method as it places a load on the starter) charging test rely on the vehicle running at 2000 RPMS default is for a 4 cylinder so the person will have to go through the starter test to tell the machine it is testing a 6, 8, 10 cylinder, then back to the charging test, make sure they've got the amp probe hooked up as this measures the amps the alternator is putting out, the battery connections only measure the volts it is putting out. Compare the Amperage output to what the computer listed specs are. An alternator that is putting out Max 14V and Max 10 amps (under load) is NOT GOOD, But under the common tests everyone seems to run this alternator will pass with flying colors every time, it will even pass the unhook a battery cable test I mentioned earlier which is why I said its working instead of working properly. If you decide to watch the machine you will note initial test of the system will probably show 14V with 15ish amps. You will hear the machine click as it applies a heavy load and the volts will drop to 12 while the amps skyrocket to 50-150 depending on the specs for it.

找个充电器，给汽车电池充电。充好后，启动汽车，看是否能启动。

如果电池无力，电池死了; 如果能发动，但坚持不久电池又没有电了，多半是alternator有问题了。

Thank you so much guys for the information. BTW, had I been overcharged last night? It was about 15 KM and I paid $150cash. There was a story behand this: a police car stopped when we found jumping my car was not working. then she give me some towing companies No. Just before I made a call, another car stopped and he told me his friend is working for a towing company and he charge less because policeman always give you an expensive ones. Becaus my cell battery is dieing. So he made a call... Anyway I hope he was not palying game.
