and tell them when and what kind car you hit and the plate number of the car just in case any witness call police.

The correct way is when you hit somebody's car, you should left a note included your name and your phone number on the window shield.

...撞了后 我就闪人了。。因为我的车 什么事也没有 当时 也不记得 什么车 什么牌子 因为 晚上 什么都看不见。。 就记得是个白色的车。。 不过到现在 警察都没给我打电话。。

I experienced that too, but the difference is the owner of the car saw me.

The owner of the car has insurance, the insurance company can pay it if he can't find you, but if you go to the police station yourself, your insurance company will pay some, you have to pay some too, sounds like that you have to pay a lot of money to fix the car if you report it yourself.

Maybe you have to risk of rising up your insurance fee.

I will choose to go away if I were you even though I know the right way is to report it, but I don't want to pay to fix it cause usually It costs a lot of money.
