1. Out price ($110) is around 20% cheaper that Canadian Tire ($135): That $25 might not be a big deal for all the homeowners, but it's quite attactive to the contractors and retailers. Pluse there is extra margin for the agent to explore (around another 15%).

2. Product Design: There are many styles for Sump Pump. (http://bbs.finercraft.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=27). The bottom design of our product is better that the linked one.

3. Free delivery: Big shop couldn't cover all the area, but our products could be received at your home.

4. Local agent: It is always convenient to talk some direct-in-charge gay instead of some customer service person regarding some technical or bargain.

This product belongs to long-term usable tool catalog, when you look at drill on the market, there is huge difference between brand names and small names(or no names). Just pardom me, you should have at least -30% to -40% lower price to get into this market. Or if you have sales power to sell to CT/Warlmart/Home Hardware etc.

It is not a rice cooker which comsumer may custom itself to a little low price one. Anyway good luck to you.
 
Thank for the kind opinions. As I mentioned before, our company hasn't been officially established yet. The purpose for posting the message is to discuss the issues and figure out the most feasible way to do it.

As for the price, after re-evaluate the situation, I believe our quote could be dropped for another 10%, plus the discount from agent (up to15%), our final sales price shall be 30% to 40% lower than CT. It's rough, but still durable. I think my partner could be agree.

As for the title of "direct-in-charge gay", I am sorry for my arrogance, it is just slip out my fingers. But the agent does has some level of power. They can decide the discount up to 15%; they can issue the gife certificates; They can extent the due date of balance. And we have the forum for them to be technically knowledgable. Besides, they have strong voice for the regional quote price and flyers make-up.
