The vac system is already roughed in the new house; although not connected to anything. They are ending in the basement wherever they come out. The charge estimates here are for joining the ends in the basement to a single pipe in the garage ($155 Vac Extend), the Vac Pan in the kitchen ($120 floor level vacuum sweep) and the dedicated circuit for the vacuum canister in the garage ($128 Central Vac dedicated circuit).
建筑商是不是说，电路要＄128，连管子到车库＄155。 那如果我不把中央洗尘器放到车库，这＄283就不用了？

电路地，没必要，128刀可省。一是garage里本来就有插头；二是工人看你rough-in到了车库，一般顺手也给你个dedicated的插头；布电的和布central-vac的是一帮人。

rough-in到车库，很必要。155也不贵。basic是连到basement，每层的头都甩着，你要请人装，hook那几个头也得要你100到120。

vac pan,我家凡是有地砖的地方都装了，一共三，有点多。不过厨房水池下的那个挺有必要的。

1）“basic是连到basement，每层的头都甩着，你要请人装，hook那几个头也得要你100到120”，好像central vac rough-in的house已经都预装了“每层的头”啊？

2）“vac pan,我家凡是有地砖的地方都装了，一共三，有点多”。这是个什么东东啊？人家完全没和我提这个，厨房地砖换一个头部一样可以吸尘么？

那个吸尘器，都得放在房子的外面，如果不在车库，你恐怕得放在后院的什么地方了吧。那恐怕就更贵了。

如果不接到车库，你以后安装的时候就要自己把各个rough-in连起来，然后通道车库里去。如果你要他们做rough-in的话，那个电插座好像是必需的，好像根据ontario building code 中央吸尘器的插座必须是单独的一路电线通地下室的electrical panel的， 否则closing的时候不能通过验收的。我和我的builder关于这个问题也讨论过，我们也想省这个插座的钱。最后的结论，就是要么不装， 要么必须两个都装。

vacpan就是这东东（http://www.ultracleancanada.com/new/vacpan.htm）给懒人准备的。象breakfast area，有小孩的家小孩吃完饭都得扫扫地。central vac有点大材小用；笤帚扫完又不想弯腰，这东东很好。我再entrance和mud room(linked with garage)也各装了一个，用处不大。
