关于water tank 问题

今天有人到家来说服免费换地下室的water tank， 他提供更有效的water tank，因此气费能节省。请问谁有这方面的经验，这事靠谱吗？

昨天我那里也有人来推销。我还没等他开始推销就说，"Ours was replaced only last year. Thanks!"

We don't use nature gas for cooking. So in the summer, nature gas is only used for hot water. Our summer gas bill is about $3 a month (I mean the gas portion of the bill). How much can you save by replacing the old one? Besides, this new company's rental fee is $5 higher than direct energy.
Another thing to remember -- if you are renting from direct energy, who is going to remove the existing water tank and return it to direct energy? Who is paying for this cost? You should ask direct energy as well as this new company before you sign the contract
