I used both. They are very similar. Tomtom has map share. The map could be updated about 1 year. It used to be garmin map is better in north american and tomtom is beter in europe. But not any more. Tomtom switched. They both has the same map. I still go with tomtom.

TOMTOM 经常将单双号搞反，把车导航到马路对面。这也许是north american and europe的路牌编号刚好相反。

比如说，到10 Rideau street, TOMTOM把车导航到9 Rideau street. 用习惯了，TOMTOM和GARMIN区别不大。

个人使用习惯不同，用过n多款，现在还是用tomtom的，比较稳定。
