我住在一个比较老旧的公寓里，下冰雨那天，阳台的冰雪融化，一些水流到了房间里，弄湿了地毯，然后物业找其他公司的人来修理，可是昨天又有一些水把地毯弄湿了，然后物业的人来看过之后就说我也有一部分责任，是窗户上的霜融化，化成水把地毯弄湿了，然后。他们让我买一个类似于烘干机的东西，使房间保持干燥。我说我不买，然后他就说，你必须得买，如果不买，时间久了把地毯弄坏或者把窗户弄坏，就让我赔偿。


我的问题是：我必须得买那个烘干机吗？如果我不买的话，一旦那个破地毯长时间的浸泡坏了，必须得该我赔偿吗？

是全包的那种。今天，他们来过之后告诉我说：漏水的原因是我把房间的温度调得过高导致窗户上的霜融化所致，是我造成的，并且还说他们以后不会再为我修理了，大家都知道，地毯被水浸湿发霉产生的臭味真让人受不了，所以，我该怎么办？有谁有过类似的经历，帮忙分享一下，先谢谢了。

In general, the higher temperature you set in your apartment, the drier the rooms. Most people living in apartments have to use a humidifier in the window because the rooms are to too dry. It is possible that you have ventilation problem in your apartment -- moisture from your daily life can not be ventilated out. If that's the case, what you need is not a 烘干机 but a dehumidifier. A dehumidifier will suck in the room air, filtering out the water in the air and spit out the dry air. It is not cheap. You are looking at at least $100. It also costs lots of electricity to run. Fortunately, you don't have to pay for the electricity.
One simple solution is to open the window a little bit and keep the higher temperature setting for a few days.
Remember, 地毯被水浸湿发霉 could produce mold in your apartment which could be a serious health hazard in the long time.

Buy a a dehumidifier or a big fan. You do not need to turn the dehumidifier or the fan on all the time. Turn it on whenever you are cooking or showing. This should work.

明白楼上的意思了，那我就时常的打开窗户放出潮湿的空气或者买个烘干机。

事情的起因是这样的；远在我们入住这个房间之前，阳台就已经漏水了，我们入住这里之后，找过物业很多次，他们是一拖再拖；终于在新年过后才找人重新做了防水，据说花了他们一大笔钱，这肯定影响了这个经理的收入，所以，他们就是反复强调是由于我做饭；洗澡等原因才使房间内湿气过重，并且在给我的信中已经说明了：无论我买不买那个烘干机他们以后也不会再为我清洗地毯和去除地毯的霉味了，因为是我造成的。



所以我只想知道：这种情况下，他们应不应该为我清洗地毯和去除霉味？
