Bachelor is smallest suit in an apartment building, it has exactly everything a 1-bed or 2-bed suite have except that it does not have a bed room.
One great room + kitchen + full bath + closet + locker room + access to all the facilities in the building.
It is an excellent choice for a single or couple who want to be independent (no landlord, no roommates), but it is very rare to find because it is cheaper than 1-bd, and most the buildings in ottawa have 50% 1-bd + 40% 2-bd, 5% 3-bd and less than 5% bachelor.
I am on the hunt for a bachelor myself around OU, but without luck for 3 weeks. Now I am willing to pay for $800 for the next best thing: a room in the 2-bd, with private bath room...
