丰田公布召回北美细节 品牌或将毁于一旦

Toyota's reputation is gained in one day, will they loose it in one day?

Like most of us, I can't afford German cars and dislike American cars. Reluctantly kept on buying Japanese. My neighbor is a GM guy, I felt pity watching him repairing his van in freezing temperature. I also has Chinese neighbor who works for GM and he was telling that GM quality had improved alot. So I checked GM cars displayed in mall and found they are still far from desired: the door close with a clunk instead of a thump.....

My former boss bought a brand new Benz E320 in 1999, he also bought a V6 Accord one year earlier. He said he will not buy another Benz, everytime coming out of Benz shecduled maitenance his wallet was more than a grand lighter.

I would be very happy to buy a Chinese made car even if it's only 80% as reliable as Japanese cars.

I have to agree with you. I have been driving all kinds of cars in the last 10 years, so far the 2002 Camery is still the one I enjoy driving. Very smoothly and quiet, and most importantly, absolutely zero repair so far. American cars looks nice and accelerates aggressively but all the buttons and switches are so rough. Never been driving a Benz though.
