但有一点，拼音对老外没有意义，在求职/跟老外交往上没有很多正面意义。觉得中学生，小学生可以改一改， 比如增加一个英文的 first name, 把中文的 first name 变成 middle name.

After the name change, they will mail you an official certificate. This certificate will list your former, and new name.

You need present this certificate to agencies, like bank, driver licences authority, etc. to change your record.

For that high school student, she was called by her classmate and teacher as Jessy, although her official name, in her high school transcript, is ****. So, reason is making that Jessy as official name.

I was thinking about change to english name but give up after seeing many people with the same name at workplace. It creates confusion. I plan to change my chinese name into a unique and relatively easy to pronounce name to keep my heritage.

Thought of the same before, and late gave up.

I think ccc could chang his chinese name to 大乐。 哈哈， 汉语拼音 正好是 Dale. A wonderful name

实话说，很多其他少数族裔的名字，未必比我们的名字容易读。但是，他们不改，也不用英文、法文名字。
