What I read from this story online (not just the picture) gave me a totally different feeling.
In my opinion, Buffet is a true MAN.
His assets have been counted using the word BILLION as the basic unit. He's willing to donate most of his wealth (that's dozens/hundred of billion's) to Bill Gates foundation for charity purposes. Only 2 persons in this whole world have done that - Gates and Buffet !!!
In this case, Buffet sold the right to have dinner with him this year to the highest bidder (whoever that lady is, she's the one willing to pay 160+M to have dinner with Buffet, maybe you can google how much she donated to charity this year).
My thinking is Buffet had to tolerate these idiots to get that 160+M. Again, to be donated to charity. He is a MAN who donates his lifetime assets to charity and continues to work hard to make more money for charity.
For most people who have billions, they'd hesitate to knee down for 160+M. To knee down and get the money for themselves, maybe. To get it and donate to charity, never.
I respect Buffet very much. Even though he knees down, he's still much taller spiritually than anyone else in the current world.
