Stablize Bar Broken

The mechanic told me the front stablize bar is broken. Any one knows how this happened? Thank you!

The winter tires were replaced by 4 four season tires in last week. Then I found out the alligment problem after this replacement. And the car was sent to the same garage when I had the tire changes, the same mechanic just told me the stablize bar is broken. So I am curious on if this issue is related to the improper tire installation.
