SPONSER 父母审批费70，为什么CIC要先收550？

读了CIC的PACKAGE，一直以为就是70块钱开始办SPONSORSHIP, 现在知道要先交550， 如果不继续办，才把550-70的部分退回来。
CIC 就这么缺钱？

Right, but that means they use your $475 way before that immigration application started.
Like everybody gave them a interest-free loan for 5-10 years ( depend on the time they process).
They can regulate whatever, but sure it does not mean that regulation does make sense or being fair to the tax payers.

呵，只能代表偶自己。公民移民部，那是Feds。我们只负责给他们发工资。

政府早就赤字运作，能借就借。先把帐给弄balanced了再说。

此外，这又不是一笔不退的钱，有必要像村长提醒我们的那样再去折腾一次吗？

当然对那些似办非办的人，那是少了一次折腾。但对大多数人来说，可能是多折腾一次。

这类收入，不能收了就全部作为当年的财政收入入帐：$75是当年收入，那$475须记入defer revenue，什么时候担保批准了，开始审理这个案子，才能转入那年的收入。否则，万一申请人半路撤消申请，哪里找钱去？

我BMO的Rate Rite的GIC两年才1%。4%的利息是银行收你的，不是给你的。
