送孩子回国学习中文可行吗

孩子要上学了， 最近在考虑是否应该送孩子回去读小学一年级， 学习一下中文再回来。。。听说在这里上中文学校， 并不能学多少。

有人有类似的想法和实践吗？ 感觉可行吗？ 请大家发表一下看法。 谢谢

孩子的英文、法文如何？

语言的学习是循序渐进的，孩子在中国学习中文是可行的方法之一，但是只学一年基本是无用功，回来后如果没有相应的中文环境和学习机会，过不了几年很快就会退回到原有水平了。认识不少在国内上过小学三年级后才移民过来的孩子，长大了也基本不太会中文了。如果能在中国连续学到小学五年级，也许还可以有一个比较好的读写听说的基础。但是，这五年孩子又该如何学习英文和法文呢?

My son only had four months studying in pre-school in China when he was five-year old.What I am suprised now he is able to send the email in chinese by using "ping yen" to get sentence. I asked him, how do you know "ping yen", he said that he learnt from pre-school.

Do I spell "ping yen' right? if not, any body can correct me.

很奇怪现时还有送孩子回国学习的心情,你还要配备接送上学的保镖.
再说,对孩子来说,重要的是学好英语发语,更好地融入这里的社会,现时华裔的英法语水平大都有限,楼主你水平如何?

听人劝，吃饱饭！

我有一朋友，嫁到欧洲。因为条件所系限，她的小孩只能跟她学两句。我们和她打电话，她只能说你好，叔叔好，阿姨好。总之，她妈说一句，她就鹦鹉学舌一般跟一句。

去年夏天她把孩子带回国内，天天送当地一年级和其他孩子们混在一起（她农村老家）。今年春节过后回来。现在这孩子居然什么都会说了！我们当时的感觉是孩子真是比大人强太多了。

如果孩子回国只是一年半载，是不可能对英语法语有什么影响的。

当然，孩子在中国人家庭里，可能将来会讲中文（不管水平如何）。但是让孩子识字，不管是一年两年前，都是不可能的。

在这里的中文学校学中文，不要谈什么效果，只能说理解父母的一片苦心了！

最大的问题是，孩子小，送回去这段时间，你如何照顾他／她，别人照顾你放心吗？

I suggest you had better go back China to attend the "pre-school", haha!

ya, my cousin grow up in Canada and I believe his parents don't care if he know Chinese or not. but he know quite some Chinese by learning it himself. I guess he has lots of interests in chinese culture, maybe watch too much Chinese tv in toronto?

学学中文会影响小孩的英文法文水平？大家可能都知道，这里长大的中国人家庭的孩子，要说不会中文一点不奇怪，但是他／她的英文法文水平差？好像没见过。

大人和孩子的语言水平是不能比的。

这么干的家长好像挺多的，效果如何，不知。

只说一个我针眼里看到的片面事情，我儿子班里有一个回国几年，回来上４年级的孩子，我儿子回来学舌说，这位同学觉得这里功课太少，同学太笨，都是“sha bi”... 我儿子不知道这句脏话的严重性，大大方方跟我学说，吓/气得我，我跟儿子说这个词绝对不能说的，这位同学如果这样，你离他远点。。。

If you are really serious about learning chinese, maybe send your kid back to china EVERY summer and have him/her go to chinese school for TWO months till he/she is at least 10 years old.

it's no use. One year. too short time. Kid will forget.
