法语国家长大（正宗发音）=> Parisian accent ?, not (Canadian) Quebecois accent ?. They are different (Like in US, they have New Yorker and Texan accents).
My Quebecois coworkers think their accent is THE correct accent.
I have an African coworker who came from Congo (French colony in the past) told me when he first came here, he has difficulty understanding Quebecois accent.
I met French exchange students 10 years ago, they told me when they visited Parliament hill, they have difficulty following what the guide said (in French, of course Quebecois accent).
