不能随便拓宽driveway的，很多地区的by-law要求房子间的绿地要保持最少一辆车的距离。

one front yard parking space permitted subject to Section 109 (5) to (10), to be located at the front property line, 2.2 m from the east property line, provided:
i) parking space not a required parking space
ii) a minimum of 32% of front yard to be provided as landscaped area
iii) required length of front yard parking space of 1.9 m
iv) required width of the parking space 2.6 m
- rooming house and rooming house, converted limited to 50% of gross floor area

我也想拓车道，我记得是需要by-law的permit规定保留51%yard就行了
打算下面进口拓宽，多可以多停一辆。
有没有朋友做过可以详细介绍一下

I saw somebody put flag stone to wide driveway. but grow some small plants between stone. So it is still consider part of garden, but you can park your car on it. And there is not law say you can't park your car on your lawn.

bylaw容许做interlock，不管你的面积多大。

但不容许在非driveway上趴车

这种park的方法一旦有人投诉，就会被禁止。

bylaw不容许parking在lawn上。曾经就这个问题和bylaw officer有过沟通。之所以有人park了没事是因为没有人投诉，officer亲口对我说过只要有人投诉，就一定不可以再park了

你需要permit，去city申请一个，带上你的layout设计图，city会派officer来实地测量，通过了就会通知你。

然后你就需要找个铺driveway的就可以了。

多谢指点，我是打算最近去CITY问一下，就是不知道我们房子8月closing，现在去办的话需要些什么。
