Is Central air-conditioning rough in necessary for a new house?

我的builder所谓的A/C rough-in就是打个孔，然后配2个线到breaker panel，也不给多余的breaker，很不值，不知道LZ是不是也这样。

In this case, I would not do the rough in, leave it until i want to install A/C and let the installing guys do everything. Is this a better idea? My builder is Urbandale.

如果你的basement是finished,我想你是需要做的。反之，就等到安装AC时再说吧，没必要做rough in.

要看electrical room的位置的，我的electrical room的位置就跟finished area分开，而且就在后院那头，外头打个孔就直接看得到。
