Taking the bus

I have been taking the bus to work for almost a year now...I use bus ticket instead of buying bus pass as I work from home from time to time. So today , as usual, get on the bus, insert the ticket then go towards the back seats, without taking the transfer. Then I think you already know what happened next... yes, the bus fare checking officer got on the bus! I tried to contest with the driver but he was replaced by some other driver in the middle....So the only slim hope now is that fare box. I know the bus ticket number, as I have two tickets in the from the same sheet. I asked the OC trasnfer cus support to hold that fare box and check the ticket number for me...

I am quite sure I am not the only person to take the bus like that. If you are one of them, I guess this may give you a wake up call.

我上回PASS上没写号就罚了我啦。
WIKI说我可以去哪儿起诉不交钱，或就交一半儿。太老实我还是交了。

Nah, double door bus has much higher chance to have officer onboard.
(I took bus for 8 years and they barely come out on heavy rainy or heavy snowy day)

此外我那个意思是，如果是单门bus并且你是单程的话可以考虑不要transfer,2个条件需要同时满足。

Rule很清楚，你需要有POP，proof of payment，你没有，所以要罚款。

PROOF OF PAYMENT (POP) - TRANSIT VEHICLES
11 No person shall fail to produce proof of payment of the proper fare when requested to do so by a proper authority while travelling upon any transit vehicle designated by the Director as a POP vehicle.

你去City Hall的Provincial court认个错，罚款立刻减半。
不服就出庭，只有这么两招。
