small court

Does anybody know how to sue a contractor in the small court? Siding installation. Bad and ugly job...however we accepted....but now one piece of new siding dropped twice within 3 days, he refued to come to repair...he did sign the "warranty"...thanks

It is not worth it.

You have to pay 75 dollars(old price) to file.
If you don't know his address, you have to pay to find out his address and have the papers served...

thanks. I know it's not worth it...the time, the energy I need to spend on the case. I know I can win, but what can I get?..the guy, I bet has nothing except 2 ladders...
But whenever I thought of the ugly job he did, and damage he made to the window frames, the attitude he has now towards the customer, I want to sue him....
Anyway I think I also need to get a lesson...for a big project, it's better to hire a company with brand name at more cost, instead of those contractor with cheaper price, it's really a nightmare to me...
