学习中~~~~顺便问问高人谁知道清热，上火怎么翻译呐。。。每次老外看我喝枸杞，菊花水什么都问我why u drink this? 憋半天我只能回答个cause it's good for health......................

that's a Chinese phenomenon, there's no equivalent in English. just say it's to cleanse your chi or something.

i've actually never understood the 清热，上火thing. just drink whatever my grandma/aunt tells me to drink and stop with the questions.

e.g. The other day my son tried to explain to me how the computer works. After an hour I still did not have the faintest idea. It's all Greek to me.

老外眼中上火应该就是发炎，有炎症。清热就真不知道是什么了。。。防止发炎？？？
