All new constructions have this or that kind of problems, issues, defects. It's just the fact no matter which builder you are dealing with. It will save you a lot of hassle if you do a careful PDI and get most of the issues solved before you pay builder the full balance. You will find it's easier to let the builder fix problems before closing than after closing. Yes builder will be responsible to fix, or you can take them to TARION, but you will find that you need to spend a lot of time and energy on chasing the builder to get the thing done.
