Free: Sony KV-32FS13 32 inch CRT absolutely flat screen - beautiful standard def picture
(Posted for a friend - please email centrepointe.ne@sympatico.ca)
Features:
Sony KV-32FS13 32 inch CRT absolutely flat screen
(no PIP, otherwise was top of the line in its day)
32 inch CRT absolutely flat screen
16:9 enhanced mode for viewing Standard Def widescreen DVD's (see pic)
(raster beam is applied in the viewable area, not the "black bands" above and below).
Mass: 75 kg (163 lbs)
Remote: RM-Y181 Sony Universal
Notes:
We only use the TV with Composite and Component inputs (from DVD and VCR), which work perfectly. We get CATV through the VCR.
Possibly has some issue with the RF co-ax input, but this may be related to issues with CATV feed in our house (low signal). We have not tried to debug. May be NFF.
Tilt correction set at -2 (this is normal).
This TV is perfect for a Wii (which is standard definition).
Pickup:
It is heavy, with all the weight in the front glass panel.
You will need a van or station wagon to take this TV.
Located in Centrepointe (Baseline & Woodroffe) in Ottawa
You will need 2 strong people with work gloves (and a secure stand).
