march break, where to go in Ottawa

Will bring 8-year old son to Ottawa for several days in March break. He doesn't like museums at all. Could you recommend some places to go? Is there any close place to learn skiiing? Thanks!

experimental farm always make the kids smile. there's a petting farm in there from what i remember. and there's horse-cart rides and stuff.

If the maple syrup farms are still open, that's usually an interesting place to go for this kids too.

Also suggest Diefenbunker - the cold war museum. Boys usually like that kind of stuff. http://www.comefromchina.org/doc-view-588.html It is not that much like a normal museum.
