土里有一种虫子专门吃草根。草没根就死了。it is called grub. no lawn can avoid having it. it will be fine if not so many (>30/sqft?). homedepot,cnd tire, rona etc have grub control stuff for sale.
It may not necessarily be the grub at the moment. I believe that hot weather without watering might be the cause. The grass is sleeping under such hot days. Two methods may work: 1) Ignore it till raining day and the grass should be back to green; 2) Keep watering everyday to keep the grass awake.
Note: I have no experience, but I did read some advice somewhere before. I am keeping my eyes on my yellowing grass now. Welcome comments.
