A good basic unit, but has text-to-speech function. No other bells and whistles. You will also get one-year road side assistance with the purchase of this unit.
It is not advertised on their flyer or website. You have to walk into a Canadian Tire store to get it. There should be plenty of them, but they will go pretty fast.
actually almost four years ago, I bought Garmin 250 for $150, which was a very good deal then. I still like it very much, but it does not have text-to-speech, and the software came with it is a bit of old. I think it is a pretty hot deal for this one at 50 bucks.
