急求助：Laptop不起动啦

My old laptop wasn't been used for a couple of weeks and suddenly stopped booting. This is a good laptop that I've been using for a while - never had any problem.

Today, it got into Windows but the mouse pad/buttons were not working. I managed to shut down Windows cuz I thought a reboot could help. However, the second boot only flashed the first screen and then the screen went blank, never got Windows. The hard drive span briefly for half second after my pressing power button and then stopped spinning. The screen and CD drive seems to have power.

Is this a mother board problem or power supply unit problem? Is it worth fixing? Any good shop to have a look and fix?

感觉象是主板的电容挂了，修理的话需要更换主板

若是HP的电脑，是有九成是主板烧了。HP是笔记本届以善于在各种情况下烧主板而闻名的。

I have the same feeling. Thanks for the other ideas as well, but I never even got to "boot from ..." screen, nor can it boot from CDROM. It's just black screen after the initial logo screen. If motherboard is toasted, how much can I expect to fix?

It depends how old is the LT.

If it is older than 2 years, I would simply buy a new one.

under warranty的话赶紧去联系维修更换，我原来有台笔记本也是类似故障黑屏无法启动，更换主板后又服务了很多年
