刚才又仔细看了下，我们那片上的叫STONECREST什么的，老远在４１７另外一个MARCH出口那儿，什么鸟不拉S的地方。
奇怪了每天都有校车接送呢，十几公里。
小学这么差，中学不知道为什么非常好，比３月鹅排的好。
所以我坚定回KANATA上小学的信念了，KANATA的小学哪个都行，反正都比他鸟不拉S 的好。

Main reason schools in Kanata lake ranks ahead is because of parents. If you live in Kanata areas with young children, you will notice all programs, swimming, music etc, are very difficult to register. Commitment by parents is the chief reason.

On student population, majority is still local students. It is not true that the ranking is biased by minority students from China or India.

By the way, I never understand why Chinese doesn't like to live with Chinese. I am not accusing or pointing fingers. Just curious ...

As to primary school ranking, Katimavick is still ahead. Followed by Stephen Leacock and AY Johnston. Other schools are probably mediocre.

Again, there is nothing special with Stephen Leacock etc. It is the expectation from parents that make students want to study ....

学校好坏也要看老师吧.
我孩子在5年级之前,换过4个学校(因为搬家).前几次因为小,换学校没啥说的.最后一次5年级换时,很不高兴,因为没朋友了.
这些学校也都是不上数的学校(指学习),周围的孩子们都是不错的.
你孩子要是学的好的话,老师也应该会喜欢的.你要实在不喜欢,就考个gift班念.

主要是担心孩子的英语吧，说实话，很怕孩子将来英语说成您这样的。。。孩子小我可以教孩子单词，句子，上的年级高一点，家长英语水平就不敢舞蹈孩子了，学校学一些，不够的，口语和词汇量主要靠课下课下和同学交流和读书，如果10岁左右了，朋友圈子还是中文的，那就有点担心了。

kanata的小学不好的很多。两极分化。

英文我儿子也不是很好，在进步，老师和他说＂难＂点儿的交流，他一概不懂，我觉得道没什么。
我LG觉得STEPHEN LEACOCK会中国小孩儿扎堆儿，因为新KANATA小区过半儿中国人是事实。不过我个人无所谓中国小孩扎堆儿，我觉得即使开始讲中文，英文差些也没什么。到写作层面上的英语，就要认真的学了，要读很多的书了，即便英文母语天天讲的本地白人也不一定写作就好。
想去上KATIMAVIK 不去STEPHEN LEACOCK主要就是LAKE 那儿房子忒贵了。

这真的是个很头疼的问题。孩子越大越难。想我儿子大了后，和他谈论冰球，选举等复杂点的问题，中文太难沟通太费劲了。日常生活的基本对话中文问题不大。
