1. Course Introduction
This hands-on course provides the knowledge and skills needed to design and build Business Intelligence system using Datastage and Cognos tools. A series of extensive hands-on exercises guides you through the process of implement an integrated business intelligence application. The most important point is that you will gain practical hands-on experience working with Database, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing and Data Analysis.
Also we will introduce IBM Datastage and Cognos Framework Manager, which is very hot in current BI job Market. You will learn real world Business Intelligence solution via project.

• Design and build comprehensive DB2 Database. Generate and maintain database objects such as Tables, Views, Materialized Views, primary Key, Foreign Key, Indexes and Triggers.
• Implement star schema data modeling techniques and define metadata.
• How to install, configure and develop the ETL solution using the most important ETL software IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• Develop BI solutions using Cognos products: Framework Manager, Query Studio and Report Studio.
