不懂就问CFC: 换电话公司，但想保留号码

用Rogers, 无合同限制。想转到别的公司，比如italkbb, distributel之类的。从网站上，这些公司都说可以保留现有号码，我需要递交一份转号申请。

我想知道，这样的话，我还需不需要通知Rogers，还是只需要等着新公司告诉我转号成功？

另外，还有些什么号的电话公司可推荐？ 谢谢

转号成功再cancel rogers吧？有可能需要多付一个月的费用，但是跟换号码一个一个通知比，还是划算的。

the new service provider will call your current service provider to port your number to them. if you called your current service provider to cancel your service in 30 days, your number will be put into cancellation mode and no one can port your number to their service anymore.
this is what i heard from rogers/bell.
