Gatineau is organizing two days for the distribution of free compost from 9 a.m. on Saturday May 5 and Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Given the limited quantity of compost, and to reduce wait times at the site entrance, you must register by selecting your preferred site from among the three choices and the time slot for your arrival. We will be taking registrations from Wednesday, April 25 until noon on Friday, May 4.
Just bring a shovel. Some bags will be provided at the site. 100 hundred litres maximum will be given by household.
Compost is a natural fertilizer that is not a substitute, but rather a supplement for soil. The compost we provide was produced from the materials collected from the brown bins and is of very good quality.
