C. difficile outbreak: no visitors to Hull hospital wing

Visitors have been barred from part of l’Hôpital de Hull until Tuesday, in an attempt to prevent the spread of a bacterial outbreak, hospital officials said Friday. Patients in the west wing of the hospital’s eighth floor were quarantined after eight patients reportedly were diagnosed with the diarrhea-causing bacteria C. difficile.
