We have access to the internet at home and Wi-Fi at school camps, what do we need a data plan? The data plan costs more money. Can I get a smartphone without data plan such as Samsung Galaxy II or III or Note; or HTC...? Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

好像Telus送iphone 3gs， 没有data plan。三年voice合同。
最新款的手机没戏。得自己花钱买。不过galaxy S2现在也很便宜了。上kijiji上找找，大概三百多到四百就能买个全新的。

不要data plan干嘛要买SmartPhone?随便一个GSMphone就可以了，而且几乎不值钱。

现在连 tim hortons都wifi了，在外的时候找个免费wifi上上网查妹儿&facebook很容易，data plan 就显得太奢侈了~

以前有个 Samsung Corby Pro不是smart但是带wifi不错，现在流行什么新型号就不清楚了。也许这个是楼主的一个选项~

fido就有：http://www.fido.ca/web/page/portal/Fido/Phones （前2个），但肯定不是什么最新型号的。不用data plan。
