Garage door warranty and opener

I want to install a garage door opener for my house and noticed there is a label on the garage door, on which i says: the garage door warranty will be void if the opener is not installed by the door company.



Please give advise, should I ask the door company to install? should I install by my-self? How important is the door warranty?
